Atomic Physics And Reality

Lars Becker-Larsen, 1985, 42 min., Engelsk speak

Einstein and Bohr's last dispute about the world picture of quantum physics. Many years later, it was finally settled by an experiment by the French physicist Alain Aspect which emphasized Bohr's attitude, that what we get to know about the nuclear world is determined by our choice of measuring apparatus. This world can only be viewed as a whole and not as separate entities.

Niels Bohr on Film

Danish scientist Niels Bohr changed the world in the most radical way with his atomic theory from 1913 and subsequent research. This year marks 100 years since Bohr received the Nobel Prize in Physics, and 60 years since his death. The Danish Film Institute has digitalised everything in our archive featuring Bohr.
